- Do you have registered versions of PPP and AmiTCP? They facilitate the set-up considerably.

- If your dialup connection is dynamic, the carrier will automatically supply the appropriate
- values when you log in (for IPLocal and IPRemote). If the connection is static, you have to
- get the correct address from your carrier and use it in your sys:prefs/env-archive/sana2/ppp0.config
- file.

- In that file, if the connection is dynamic, simply use 0.0.0.0.

- If your AmiTCP is unregistered, look at the AmiTCP/bin/startnet file. With a dynamic connection,
- no values are substituted for $ppp0iplocal and $ppp0ipremote. With a static connection, you must
- get these values from your carrier and insert them in place of these variables.
